The Baltimore Gas & Electric Co., privatization construction projects continue on post. Expect road closures on Leonard Wood Avenue, from Rock Avenue to Broadfoot Road, as work is conducted. Work began this week and is scheduled for completion on Feb. 11.

American Water continues smoke testing of manholes to check for leaks in the sanitation system. Work on this phase of the project has been extended to mid-February. Testing will result in plumes of smoke rising from manhole covers. Locations of smoke testing will be disclosed to residents and building managers one week prior to testing. Contact your community center with questions regarding dates of testing or further questions.

Remember to slow down in construction zones and follow posted detour signs. Running or walking in or near construction sites is prohibited.
