Dump Your Plump awards
The awards ceremony for Dump Your Plump will be March 17 at 12:30 p.m. downstairs at Gaffney Fitness Center. The final weigh-in will be Wednesday.

Ice Breaker Golf Tourney
The Ice Breaker Golf Tournament will be held March 27 at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The cost is $25 per player or $50 per team. Fees include lunch. For more information, call 301-677-5329/5245.

Meade Running Club
The Meade Running Club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:45 p.m. at the Gaffney Fitness Center entrance.

The club is open to all levels of runners who are military, DoD civilians, family members and other eligible patrons of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.

Scheduled routes will be set for runs of progressing distances. There is no cost to join the club.

Spring youth sports
Child, Youth and School Services will hold spring sports registration weekdays through March 15 at Central Registration. Spring sports include soccer, t-ball, baseball, track, swimming, indoor football and Silly Sports for toddlers. Spaces are filing up quickly.

Women's varsity softball
The post sports office is accepting resumes for the women's varsity softball team. Submit resumes to brandie.deremer@us.army.mil.

Men's varsity softball
Tryouts for the men's varsity softball team will be held March 22 to 25 at 5:30 p.m. on Donahue Field.
