Arts and Crafts Center offers BASIC FRAMING CLASSES at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays. The fee is $35 which includes materials to complete one 8 x 10-inch framing project. The ODENTON VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS Post 5172 will hold its monthly membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kiwanis Building located at 1383 Becknel Avenue in Odenton. YOUTH

Child and Youth Services' Teen Center offers many daily scheduled AUGUST TEEN ACTIVITIES such as Tuesdays, Youth Lab Activities and board game challenges; Wednesdays, teen council meetings; Thursdays, craft classes, youth tech lab activities; Fridays, video game challenges, special events; and Saturdays, outdoor activities. Child and Youth Services BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM services MacArthur and Meade Middle schools with bus service before and after school for all CYS registered middle school youth, grades 6-8. The program is free and is offered 2:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 2:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays. The Before School Program fees are based upon income. The Youth Center will host an ORIENTATION FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM 6 p.m. today for grades 6 to 8. All new students enrolling in the middle school Before and After school program for the 2004-2005 school year are welcome. Child and Youth Services is an affiliated member of the BOYS and GIRLS CLUB OF AMERICA and features many activities. MILITARY MUSIC

The U.S. ARMY FIELD BAND continues its Summer Band Concert Series 7 p.m. Sunday with a performance by the band's touring show band, "The Volunteers." On Aug. 29, its premier touring jazz orchestra, the "Jazz Ambassadors," will perform. All concerts are at 7 p.m. at Devers Lawn located at the corner of Mapes Road and Cooper Avenue. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The concert is open to Fort Meade residents and ID cardholders and their guests. Free.

The NATIONAL CRYPTOLOGIC MUSEUM contains thousands of artifacts which collectively tell the history of the cryptologic profession. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of each month. It is closed Sundays and all federal holidays. The museum features a gift shop. Visitors do not have to enter Fort Meade to reach the museum. Free. To arrange group tours, call 301-688-5849.

The FORT GEORGE G. MEADE MUSEUM tells military history from the Continental Soldiers in the area to the founding of the post in 1917, and continuing to today. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Free. The Fort Meade Museum is located in Building 4674, Griffin Avenue.
