Local swimming pool options for service members and families

With the closure of the Rock Avenue Outdoor Pool, the indoor pool at Gaffney Fitness Center will continue to operate its recreational swim Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. through Aug. 17.

The Columbia Association is offering special military and DoD rates at five of its pools. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children per visit. A valid military or DoD identification card is required.
